T2 Storage Solutions were approached by a leading UK manufacturing, distribution and retail company with the purpose of optimising their new central distribution hub to accommodate a large number of pallet locations accessible via VNA fork lift trucks.
Having worked closely with T2 Storage Solutions previously on multiple successful projects and knowing our clients expectations, we once again rose to the challenge utilising our professional storage team consisting of surveyors, designers and project managers to provide a bespoke storage solution to meet their needs and expectations both for the short and long term within their new central distribution warehouse close to East Midlands Airport.
Our client’s large storage demand required the design and installation of circa 15,000 pallet locations, each with a max pallet weight of 840Kg UDL. Every design detail was discussed and agreed in fine detail covering everything from P&D end of run locations, 3900mm wide (2.52t) beams allowing our client to store 3 x 1200mm wide pallets per level all built within a 6 week period and during the outbreak of a pandemic so, strict site working conditions were implemented from day 1 to final completion without any problems to anyone’s health and/or safety..
