Warehouse Survey
Once we have discussed and understood your requirements, our expert teams will visit your site to assess your available space, identifying optimal solutions for racking, shelving and mezzanine floor installations to maximise storage capacity, improve your operational flow and meeting your unique individual requirements. We take care to take into consideration your budget and timescale to provide a bespoke recommendation which can be easily expanded upon in the future.
Design and Planning
The design and planning phase is the critical step in delivering a warehouse that aligns with your current and future business objectives. Our in-house design team begins by gathering all the relevant information from the initial consultation, including your operational requirements, workflow challenges and storage needs alongside the detailed site survey.
Using this information our team produces detailed CAD floor plans which serve as the foundation of your bespoke fit out solutions, including:
- Optimise aisle configurations – including which racking would suit your requirements best
- Determine strategic mezzanine floor placements – to expand your usable floor space.
- Allocate space for office facilities – ensuring a seamless integration with the operational space.
- Plan for scalability – To provide a cost-effective route to expansion in the future.
Installation and Hand Over
Once the design has been finalised and approved, we move seamlessly into the installation phase. Your dedicated project manager coordinates all aspects of the fit out, ensuring each elements from the racking systems and mezzanine floors, through to the lighting and AC is installed to the highest standards, on time and within budget. During this process, your team will work closely with you to minimise disruption to your operations.
Upon competition, our team will conduct a thorough handover process which will ensure all systems are fully operations and meet your requirements. To this end we include a detailed walkthrough for you and your staff, providing any necessary documentations to provide a seamless transition into the use of your new space.
Key Installations of a Warehouse Fit Out
Mezzanine Floors
Mezzanine floors allows you to utilise unused vertical space and headroom in your premises to provide additional office, storage or factory space.
Industrial Shelving
Industrial shelving systems are built to provide businesses with the maximum storage capacity within your unit, from single pay of storage through to multi-tiered shelving systems, allowing the storage of a range of uniquely shaped products without the need of industrial tools or vehicles.
Pallet Racking
Pallet Racking is a storage system design to store and organise palleted goods within the warehouse, distribution or indusial unit. Upright frames provide structural support while horizontal load-bearing beams create a storage framework for palleted goods to be stored upon.
Warehouse Office Fitting
A new office space can be utilised to house administrative staff and non-manual workers within the industrial unit. Offices can be built individually onto the work floor utilising steel partitions or built to the underside or top side of a mezzanine floor. The office space can include meeting rooms, breakout spaces, receptions, WCs and canteen Kitchens – with all works designed and completed by T2 Storage Solutions as part of your warehouse installation package.
Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC (Air Conditioning)
