Mezzanine Floor with Office Fit Out and External Cladding

To celebrate a successful 25 years in the music industry our client recently purchased a 20,000 square foot former cold storage industrial unit and turned to T2 Storage Solutions to start its transformation into a modern office facility allowing them to relocate all their staff under one roof for continued growth & development.
Mezzanine Floor and Racking
355m2 Office Use Mezzanine incl. Unirack
Our solution included the design and install of a 355m2 Office use Mezzanine Floor with a UDL of 3.5kN/m2 which the new office space would be built upon. The mezzanine floor boasted a L/360 Deflection Limit, removing any “bounce” from the floor.Our client also had the need for a Unirack Shelving system installation on the ground level which we promptly designed and installed to suit their specific requirements.
This required the stripping out of the cold store walling, roofing and existing machinery from the ground level.
Office Fit Out
Glazed Partitions, Furniture, Electrics…
We worked closely with our client to understand how the business operates, their goals and work ethics before designing their new office space.
The office benefits from an open plan design, designed to facilitate customer facing interactions alongside being a comfortable breakout space for our client’s employees.
New full height glazed partitions and doors which were used to create a segrigated office space and kitchen facilities that connect to the open plan office.
The ground floor required the installation of a new reception space, multiple conference and mettings rooms alongside a brand new, custom installed sound recording studio.
External Cladding
Modern Front Facing Cladding
New insulated cladding was installed to the buildings to the buildings face as we removed the old damaged cladding.
We also installed brand new double glazed windows alongside the new cladding to reduce heat loss while looking visually clean and modern.
Over the course of the project there were a number of difficulties to overcome, such as prior building damages but we perservered, completing the works within the allocated time scale and to the agreed budget.
